1916

1923

 9th Erith Scout Group Formed at St. Augustines Church Belvedere Kent.

9th Erith Scout Group registered with Imperial HQ.

1966

 First group owned HQ completed at current location called "NiDen".

1977

 9th Erith Scout Group becomes an Air Scout Group.

1981

 HQ demolished in preparation for new building.

1981-1982

 Sections meet at St Augustine's Junior School in Belvedere during building phase.

1982

 New HQ "Niden" completed after much work from all the group.

1982

 9th Erith Beaver Colony established although not part of the Scout Association.

1983

 Group gains RAF accreditation as 51st recognised group.

1986

 Beaver Scouts admitted into the Scout Association.

1987

 Titan Air Venture Scout Unit established at group with male and female membership.

1990

 Group accepts girls into all sections as an early adaptor although the Scout Association only accepts the idea in principle.

Apr-03

 Titan Air Venture Scout Unit devolves into Titan Air Explorer and Adrenaline Air Network units.

Nov-05

 Group website (www.9therithairscouts.org.uk) launched.

Mar-06

 5 members of Titan Air ESU selected as UK contingent for 2007 World Scout Jamboree.

Aug-06

 Adrenaline Air Network visits Polk County in Florida for their Explorer belt expedition.

Jan-07

 The Scout Association becomes completely co-educational.

Jul-07

 9 members of Titan Air ESU attend the centenary World Scout Jamboree at Hylands Park in Essex.

Nov-07

 Air Scout Troop and Adrenaline Air Scout Network take part in Live 07 at the O2 dome in Greenwich.
